The Department of Industry and Trade in Herat province has recently announced a significant rise in manufacturing activity, attributed to the establishment of the Islamic Emirate in the country and the subsequent facilitation of investment opportunities.
Officials from the department have revealed that Herat is now home to nearly 800 factories within the Herat Industrial City, with an additional 200 factories outside the industrial zone actively engaged in production activities.
Furthermore, the Department of Industry and Trade has reported that products from the industrial town in Herat are currently being exported to American, European, and Central Asian countries. Efforts are underway to further increase the volume of these exports, demonstrating a commitment to expanding market reach and boosting economic growth in the province.
