War Crimes (June 2021)

On 1st June, a civilian compound was destroyed by an enemy airstrike in Khasht-e-Pul area of Pashtun Kot district of Faryab province, from which the owner of the compound Ustad Paiwand was martyred.

 

On 1st June, eight civilians, including women and children, were martyred and wounded in a mortar attack of enemy troops in Logari and Baghlaki areas of Nahrin district in Baghlan province.

 

On 1st June, six villagers, including women and children, were martyred and wounded in a hireling bombing in Fidayano Hadira area of Nahr-e-Saraj region of Gerishk district in Helmand.

 

On 1st June, a child and his mother were martyred by police in centre of Nawa district of Helmand province.

 

On 4th June, enemy bombardment and artillery attacks on Kolabaf and Qalat Shah areas of Aqcha district and Khanqah and Uzbek villages of Khanqah district in Jawzjan province and caused huge financial losses to civilians.

 

On 5th June, a civilian was martyred in a mortar shell fired by the government forces in Jodra area of Deh Bala district of Nangarhar province.

 

On 5th June, enemy bombed a base overrun by Mujahideen and the masses gathered for visiting the base on the Kandahar-Helmand highway in Nahr-e-Saraj region’s Yekhchal area of Gereshk district in Helmand province, according to reports thirty civilians were martyred and 60 others wounded in the bombing.

 

On 5th June, a child was martyred by enemy firing in Baghian village of Qarghi district of Laghman province.

 

On 5th June, a shopkeeper (Raz Mohammad) was taken out of his shop and martyred by the government troops in Dorahi area of Farah Road district of Farah province.

On 18th June, three women were martyred and seven others were wounded when the government forces attacked a passenger bus near Shahr-e-Jadid Bazaar in Markazi Baghlan district of Baghlan province.

 

On 18th June, four civilians were martyred and five others were wounded in an artillery attack of the government forces in Surya village of Surkhab Hawza region in Mohammad Agha district of Logar province.

 

On 19th June, the bodies of three civilians (Moallem Ashiqullah s/o Bakht Zaman, Siddiqullah s/o Noorbar and Abdul Rashid s/o Ghazi) hailing from Tabi and Babro villages of Lakno district were found in Farm Bagh area of Khost province who were abducted by campaign troops a few days ago.

 

On 19th June, the CHC clinic in the Seyuri district of Zabul province was damaged by shelling of DC cannon by government forces.

 

On 20th June, a civilian, one woman and two children were martyred when the government forces targeted their vehicle in Haji Sardar Pump area of Gerishk district of Helmand province.

 

On 20th June, five civilians were martyred and wounded in an Arbaki RPG attack in Aqcha Nama area of Aqcha district in Jawzjan province.

 

On 21st June, four civilians were martyred and four others were injured in enemy bombardment of Dara area of Shakardara district in capital Kabul.

 

On 21st June, eight civilians were martyred and wounded in the firing of a DC cannon by the government forces in Khogyani area of Aliabad district of Kunduz province.

 

On 21st June, three members of a family were martyred in a DC cannon shelling by the enemy troops in Lajgar area of Hesarak district in Nangarhar province.

 

On 21st June, enemy airplanes bombed the main building and other district administration facilities of Maiwand district of Kandahar province after the district was captured by Mujahideen. According to reports, all the facilities in the district were damaged.

On 23rd June, four civilians were martyred and eight others were wounded in a bombardment by government forces in Murabad area of Tirinkot, the capital of Uruzgan province.

 

On 23rd June, Eleven civilians, including women and children, were martyred and five others were wounded by enemy bombardment in the Tora Shah area of Sangin district in Helmand province.

 

On 23rdJune, enemy plane bombed a residential area in Feroz Nakhchir district of Samangan province from which three civilians were martyred.

 

On 24th June, three civilians were martyred in a government bombardment on civilians who were visiting a check post vacated by enemy in Shahr-e-Safa district of Zabul province.
