AFGHANISTAN, Oct. 18 – His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, met with envoy of the President of Kazakhstan on international cooperation, Mr. Yerzan Kazykhanov and his accompanying delegation.

Minister thanked the State of Kazakhstan for his humanitarian assistance and highlighted the foreign policy of the new Islamic government that Afghanistan is committed to providing opportunities for rational cooperation, and wants balanced political relations based on cooperation and understanding with all countries in the region.
Mr. Kazkhanov expressed his gratitude for the efforts of the Islamic Emirate to restore security and stability, expressing that Kazakhstan’s foreign policy is balanced, adding that his country has friendly relations with all countries in the region.
In the end both sides affirmed strengthening of economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
