Strategic base overrun in Dehrawod

URUZGAN, June. 24 – A hireling military base located in Lakhshak area was overrun after a brief resistance as a result of Mujahideen attack yesterday.
Many vehicles and several logistical equipment was recovered from the base.
The base which has very important location is the second strategic base that is being overrun by Mujahideen.
Another report says that hirelings have martyred 2 villagers and wounded 3 others as well as set alight a vehicle and 5 motorbikes during a night raid in Dehzak area of Dehrawod district overnight.
Separately an enemy mortar round hit 2 villager compounds in lower Dawan area of Charchino district on Sunday, killing 2 women and wounding 5 children.
