Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, Deputy Minister of Economy, met with several Uzbek investors in his office. During the visit, the investors expressed keen interest in various sectors including mining and processing coal, generating electricity from coal, building a standard oil refinery, constructing a cement factory, extracting salt mines, producing standard salt, establishing standard textile factories, and implementing e-governance solutions.

 

The Uzbek investors noted that Afghanistan has become a favorable country for investment, and they have come fully prepared to invest and share their expertise with Afghans.

 

In response, the Deputy Minister thanked the Uzbek investors for their interest in diverse sectors within Afghanistan and assured them of cooperation from the relevant ministries and agencies to facilitate their investment endeavors.
