KABUL, Dec. 13 – The first meeting of the National Procurement Commission has been held today at the Marmarina Palace today under the chairmanship of the Economic Deputy Prime Minsiter of the IEA, Alhaj Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund.

Later, the officials of the National Procurement agency shared information about the agency with the participants of the meeting and 13 contracts and procurement were discussed in details.

Among the contracts that were submitted to the National Procurement Agency by the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Public Health, Kabul Municipality and Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherakat (DABS), the contracts of 7 projects have been approved by the National Procurement Commission, the contract of a project suspended and the remaining 5 The project contracts that were requested to be canceled, have been canceled. These contracts were for procurement of goods, including services and rehabilitation projects.

At the end of the meeting, it was decided that hense after, no organization can contract its projects without the approval of the National Procurement Commission.

All agencies are obliged to sign their project contracts through the National Procurement Agency after the approval of the commission.
